Why Doesn't Storage Clear Even After Deleting Files?

You may have noticed that even after deleting files from Google Drive, the storage doesn't seem to clear. Why is that?

Answer: Storage doesn't clear because the deleted files don’t get permanently removed; they move to Trash or Bin. Until you permanently delete these files from the Trash or Bin, the storage will not be freed. Therefore, if you delete a file from Google Drive, ensure to delete it from the Trash as well.
