Types of Railway Jobs
First you should know that Indian Railway Services is divided into two cadres. Gadget and Non-Gazetted and Divided into four groups Group A B C and D. To apply for the different post of Group A, you must have an According Bachelor’s degree in Railway Post. Like Bachelor Degree in Engineering MBBS Degree Extra Age Limit for this Group is 21 to 32 Years and there is no Exam for Assistant Nursing Officer from Group B Post. When Group C employees have completed at least three years of service in the Railways, then they are promoted to Group B through examination. This exam consists of two computer based tests followed by typing skill test or computer based aptitude test followed by document verification and medical examination. They get the corresponding variation of the post in the status.

The age limit of this exam is 17 to 21 years and the selection is done on the basis of written test and personality test.
